ALT4 Certificate Generator is built for schools, training programmes, workshops, clubs, events and organisations that need a quick way to prepare professional certificates. The editor works directly in your browser, so you can upload a design, place text on it and download the final certificate without sending the certificate image to an ALT4 processing server.

For best print quality, use a high-resolution landscape template. The built-in certificate designs use a 2000 × 1414 canvas, which gives a sharp result for common digital and print uses.

FAQ

Certificate Generator questions

Can I use my own certificate template?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP image. The editor keeps the template in your browser and lets you place text over it.

How should I prepare a certificate template?

Use a clean, high-resolution landscape image with enough empty space for the recipient name and certificate details. A 2000-pixel-wide image or larger works well.

Can I generate many certificates from an Excel file?

Yes. Put column headings in the first row and one recipient in each following row. Upload the Excel or CSV file, map the columns to certificate text, preview any row, choose JPG or PDF, and download all certificates together in a ZIP file.

Why is my certificate download named after the recipient?

ALT4 uses the selected file-name column or Recipient Name field as the output file name, such as Maria-Joseph.jpg or Maria-Joseph.pdf, so multiple certificates are easier to organise.

Does ALT4 store my uploaded certificate?

No certificate image is uploaded by this tool. The image is read and rendered locally in your browser. Ads, quotes and the visitor counter may use normal network requests, but your certificate file itself is not sent with those requests.
