Kolab Now is a web-based email and groupware service relying entirely on free and open-source software, offering end-to-end encryption and a responsive web client.

Originally launched as “MyKolab” in January 2013, it was rebranded to Kolab Now in 2015 to reflect its focus on modern, cloud-based collaboration.

The service is owned and operated by Kolab Systems AG (now Apheleia IT AG), founded in Zürich, Switzerland in 2010, with leadership including CEO Georg Greve and CTO Jeroen van Meeuwen.
